La Ruta
An immersive audiovisual installation developed for Bombas Gens Centre d’Art Digital, in collaboration with Radiante Lab.
This project explores La Ruta Valenciana, a defining cultural moment in Spain during the 1980s and 1990s, when electronic music, nightlife, and a new sense of freedom reshaped the social landscape of a generation.
Following decades of transition, the emergence of club culture along the Valencian coast became more than a scene: it was a collective release. A space where music, light, and movement constructed new identities and ways of experiencing time and space.
The installation translates this context into an immersive environment where visuals, rhythm, and spatial perception merge. Through a carefully choreographed audiovisual language, the room evokes the intensity, energy, and emotional charge of that era not as a nostalgic reconstruction, but as a living atmosphere.
A continuous flow of light and image unfolds across the space, dissolving boundaries and drawing the audience into a sensory narrative that reflects the spirit of the Route: freedom, experimentation, and transformation.
