“Voltereta Welcome to Manhattan” is a restaurant that transports visitors straight to the heart of 1920s New York, at the height of the speakeasy era. The façade, disguised as a record and book store, is just the beginning of this immersive experience. Inside, Vitamin has designed a luminous and sensory journey using video mapping and interactivity. Visitors interact with a projected book, choosing paths in a story inspired by The Great Gatsby through contactless LIDAR sensors.

These choices determine the visual and sound projections that unfold before them. They then enter an immersive LED room, where a luminous maze and mirrored walls create the illusion of an infinite journey through space and time. After this experience, guests emerge into 1920s Manhattan, and as they leave the venue, a fiber-optic installation in a mirrored environment provides one final sensory surprise.
